Star Trek Voyager: Acts of Contrition by Kirsten Beyer
The Full Circle fleet begins diplomatic relations with the Confederacy of the Worlds of The First Quadrant. Seven finds herself the subject of hostile inflexibility. The once perfectly cohesive Doctor begins to degrade. Tom Paris fights a custody battle and the many ways he has abjectly failed are laid bare. Old adversaries of Voyager have formed a pact and are making blandishments. This was good as the fallout from years of bad decisions comes raining down.

Best Lines:
“The Caeliar were responsible for ending the existence of the most hostile species the Federation has ever encountered. What does that make them?”
“Our friends to whom we should be eternally grateful?”

“Someone has decided that the next time we meet the Caeliar, we must have the ability to meet them with deadly force.”

“Admiral, please spare us your indignation.”

“This choice went beyond anything he considered rational.”
