Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark (2010)
Based on a classic 1970's TV movie this is a dull monster movie about evil tooth fairies, a dumb kid and a doomed stepmother (Katie Holmes). The annoying moppet annoys, the old dark house is full of monsters and the stepmother’s fate is nightmare fuel.

Tinker Tailor Solider Spy (2011)
This is a dull, grey and low key to the point of catatonia tale of a search for a Soviet mole in 1973. Mark Strong, John Hurt, Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hardy star with bad haircuts. You can guess who the mole is by reading the cast list.
