Emma meets two winsome shoplifting children and decides to help them find their feckless father (Nicholas Lea). Naturally enough in fairytale land the winsome moppets are Hansel and Gretel. The siblings had an unfortunate encounter with the evil Queen in yet another outfit stolen from ‘Tin Man’.
The petty and cruel Evil Queen sent the siblings to the house of the Blind Witch (Emma Caulfield of ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’) but left out the part about the Blind Witch’s eating habits. Hansel is stupid, the Blind Witch’s house is an explosion of corn syrup and there is a big pile of bones. This had sap and why couldn’t the Blind Witch get out of her own oven?
In Storybrooke Henry babbles so much, I’m amazed he is not on medication. Regina annoys and Emma lies about Henry’s father. What joy does Regina get out of living in a time locked town with her enemies in Maine forever? But then another rude stranger rides into town. This was okay.

“Storybrooke has a foster system?”
“The house of the Blind Witch.”
“That doesn’t sound good.”
“No-one leaves Storybrooke, no one comes here, no-one goes.”
“You’re the first stranger here, ever.”
“Not even a lick.”
“Now she’s cavorting with dwarves?”
