This is the final book in ‘The Disillusionist’ trilogy after ‘Mind Games’ and ‘Double Cross’. It is a disappointment after the fabulous ending of ‘Double Cross’. Our heroine Justine babbles inanely, the beyond tedious Packard/Justine/Otto triangle of doom drags on and irritating supporting characters irritate. This is an artificial lifeless novel devoid of interest that has no highly wrought verbal language but does have an idiotic ending.
