Promises

The snotty little madam Violet is a jerk. Rossi is shot. Michael is a stupid idiot. Becca and her puffy face get angry. Martin Newman turns out to be into smuggling people, diamonds, heroin, guns and nukes. Paul is arrested and locked up in a hellhole jail. Violet is smug one time too many. Martin Newman thinks Michael is smart for some inane reason. This was mediocre.

Best Lines:
“You shot two men in 20 minutes.”

“We’re ready for Becca Winstone.”

Guardians

Nikita looks up Owen. Nikita screams a lot. People are stupid, there is bad acting and Nikita’s tiresome existential crisis goes on. There are idiot pep talks and Alex has a ‘Hunger Games’ experience in a forest.

Percy has a plan. Michael shows up in an explosion of illogic. Alex gets a shock in a plot twist already done by ‘Alias’ and ‘Hawaii Five-0’. This was not good.

Best Lines:
“We don’t have a lot of friends left.”

“You really have no idea what’s going on do you?”

“Our memories can be unreliable narrators. You may think you know with absolute certainty what’s in your past and then you find out you don’t know the past at all.”
