“Then I will eat your face? Where do you come up that stuff?”
“I thought that sounded quite menacing.”

I will review: ‘The Uninvited’ and season 2 of ‘The Walking Dead. I will not review: ‘The Devil’s Nebula’
I am reading ‘The Best Horror of the Year Volume 4’.
Saw a pic of a certain new character who will be in season 3 of ‘The Walking Dead’ - yum.

Cleared out a 1997 tape. It opened with a season 2 ‘Xena Warrior Princess’ ep ‘Destiny’ in which Xena is injured after a silly fight scene and has flashbacks to Ten Winters Ago when as a pirate she encountered Julius Caesar (Karl Urban and his crap acting).
Xena is protecting her home. She learns skills from a stowaway and is betrayed by Caesar and his goons kill her stowaway friend. Xena decides to be evil. Caesar hangs out with Brutus who is played by a different actor. The Xena in the afterlife scene is ridiculous.
Best Lines:
“There was never any us Xena, only Rome and I am Rome.”
“A new Xena is born today with a new purpose: death.”
Then came a season 1 ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ ep ‘Invisible Girl’. Cordelia is menaced by invisible girl Marcie (Clea Duvall) who went invisible and crazy because no-one noticed her. This was boring. Then came a ‘Forever Knight’ ep ‘Feeding the Beast’ in which Nick goes undercover at a 12 Steps programme and meets Monica (Carrie-Anne Moss). Schanke is loud and obnoxious and Nick goes on a blood bender. This was painfully overwrought.
Finally there was a ‘Profiler’ ep 'Night Dreams' in which a nutter of the week kidnaps women. John gets shot and he and Sam yap. This was boring. But why did moody 90s TV get replaced by ‘NCIS-LA’ type crap?!?
