Book Review: The Green Hornet Casefiles, Part 1

The Green Hornet Casefiles edited by Joe Gentile and Win Scott Eckert
This is the follow up to 'The Green Hornet Chronicles' and is based on the 1960's TV show. It has ugly cover art and the intro manages to avoid any mention of the Seth Rogen movie.

Sting of the Yellow Jacket
Britt Reid has a nemesis. This is way too silly and pulpy.

Lair of the Living Dead
The Green Hornet and Kato take on zombies. It's better than it sounds.

Through A Green Haze
The Green Hornet gets amnesia and ends up in the hands of some unfriendly thugs. This is okay.

Best Line:
"Stop standing around like it's a game of freaking craps and jump the mook."

The Black Widow
The Black Widow strikes and the Green Hornet and Kato have to foil her. This is okay.

A Thing of Beauty
The Black Beauty is carjacked and the Green Hornet and Kato want their car back. This is good.

Part 2 forthcoming after my holiday!
