Supernatural 6x14 + The Last Enemy (2008) Ep 1 Reviewed

Mannequin 3: The Reckoning
Is this a ripoff of a 'Doctor Who' ep? Sam annoys, Dean gets a call from Ben the one time thug kid who has undergone a personality change. Sam deals with a missing woman/ghost case. Dean deals with Ben and whiny Lisa. Sam uncovers a tale of workplace bullying and manslaughter also there is a possessed kidney. The impala gets possessed and this was okay.

Best Lines:
"And then what? Leave her in a tub of ice with a phone taped to her hand?"

"We save lives, now and again."

"What's a Snooki?"

Ep 1
Tomorrow is nearer than you think.

Dr Micheal (Max Beesley of 'Survivors') is blown up by a landmine so his unloving brother Steven (Benedict Cumberbatch of 'Sherlock') shows up to the funeral. The UK has high security due to a massive atrocity known as the Victoria Bomb. Stephen ignores signs that say 'No ID, No Entry' to focus on being a germaphobic prat who annoys people.

He moves into his dead brother's flat and meets the annoying Yasim who is Micheal's wife. Yasim and her accent annoys and the actress is terrible. But Steven jumps into bed with her and shows off his ass within minutes of meeting her despite knowing there is a dead body in the guest bedroom. Probably because she listened to his whining about being the unfavourite.

David (Robert Carlyle) lurks. Steven gets offered a job with TIA (Total Information Awareness, one big absolute surveillance database). Yasim runs off. Steven meets an ex who is now a government minister despite her shrieky voice.

Steven types a lot while working on TIA. Meanwhile a conspiracy of three people mutter. Someone shows up unexpectedly. Steven obsesses over Yasim, why? And there is lots and lots of surveillance. This was an utter letdown. Yasim is the most annoying character ever and 'Spooks: Code 9' was better than this.

Best Lines:
"I couldn't believe I was born into the same family as him."

"Security sheepdip."
