Riptide 1x03+Yellowjackets 2x03+Rabbit Hole (2023) 1x01 Reviewed
Riptide 1x03
There is a reveal of scenario planning by a pathologically obsessed nut. This is boringly repetitive with little consequence for my life. The soundtrack is good. Too good for this mess that causes incredulity. Ethan is arrogant and dismissive with a whiff of sleaze. He loves to make disparaging comments. The ex isn't trusted. Alison is sweet and welcoming.
The ex rages and breaks promises. Certain things about the ex begin to bother Alison and her slut daughter. The ex treats Alison and the daughter shamefully. Him in there annoys. The ex spews anger and bitterness. This is unadventurous. The ex's rage forever haunts his legacy. The terrifying prospect is that the ex and Alison end up reunited in 1x04. Alison is ruing. The stalker is outwardly respectable but is actually living in a house he does not own. There is a fear of reprisal and panic and paranoia. The ex is angry, resentful and dismissive. Ethan is vindictive. Things are not increasingly complex. This was dreary, unpleasant hogwash.
The daughter dislikes Dan and never seems to go to school. The ex has defensive reactions despite being a crazy man. The ex is in a grim state. This was unfortunate and regrettable. The ex keeps returning to the chaos he left behind.
The daughter's dumbness beats all for horror. The ex yells with customary hyperbole. The ex and the daughter's ex Logan know each other. It's a harrowing time. Sean's deffo dead. This is a sad indictment of todays values and culture. This is unmitigated nonsense that is outrageous, implausible and downright silly. This is not atmospheric, gripping or enthralling. The ex is not a bit of a rascal, he is disillusioned and on a nihilistic rampage. Ethan's mother still loved Sean.
Ethan wails about how Sean left them for Alison and he wanted him back. The daughter can't act. There is an inevitable crisis and contention and telling reflexive lying. Dan has oleaginous smarm. Alison is remarkable for all the wrong decisions she makes. Ethan has a reasonable argument that the whiny and pathetic and ghasty Alison ruined their family.
The slut daughter is indiscreet and rude. The slut daughter is not brilliantly useful. The daughter is hostile and bafflingly stupid. This is painful in its dumbness. Ethan is a nemesis. There is a horse? A house is not a haven of privacy and privilege. There is no authentic voice. Alison has horribly misjudged Dan. The creepy Dan is devoting himself to his evil endeavours.
The slut daughter tells Dan to bog off. Logic is forgotten and ignored. Ethan is vitriolic. The slut makes her point fairly forcefully. The acting is the grimmest, you're coiling backward at how amdram it all is. Channel 5 once caused a sensation. You're visibly shocked at the badly actred grumbling and moaning. Dan is not deeply terrifying. Ethan's retaliation will be guaranteed. There is not one trusting relationship on this show.
Dan is struggling to escape his past. He is not walking with god. He is not ok to pray. Nobody has a rigid sense of right and wrong. Dan has an admirer. Dan's not dashing. The slut daughter's plotline has driven home the consequences of sexting. There is no escalating tension. Sense is overriden. Alison makes the worst decision. A new dawn does not approache.
Bitter and bloody conflict will come. A house by the sea is a dream for many but not for everyone namely the slut daughter. Things go badly for Sean. The cops think they destroyed a conspiracy. The ex is a man out of step. There is no comeback of old testament proportions. Dan is steadfast and stalking to his extent is a very serious step to take.
There is endless opposition to sense. One feels a degree of disgust for the dumb Alison. There are developments that are not what Dan would have liked. Sean is a bit player in his own murder. Dan has a sense of his own significance. Who is speaking for Sean? How many men does Alison need?
Dan has a sense of destiny and dogged determination. The nutjob Dan is berated by the ex who made pledges he knew he won't honour. The ex is the cause of his downfall. Alison is under constant attack from mad bad man. Dan is beset and nakedly aggressive and whipping up the fears. This is so very very bad.

“Why would I hide Sean's body in my own storage unit?”

Digestif
There is talk of cumin and a clawchowder. They've forever been changed by the wilderness. Did Shauna's baby end up on the slow cooker in the wilderness? The coach saw civil strife in the wilderness with some dismay. There was civic breakdown. Taissa had a psychotic break at the memory of eating Jackie. Now what will they eat?
They plan what to do with the remains of Jackie's remains. Taissa found it all a very heavy responsibility. The gang are trauma bonded. Why isn't Natalie having withdrawal at Lottie's cult? There is devil behaviour.
Misty is top bitch. Shauna threatens murder over a minivan. The coach thought his team were vicious little monsters. The coach's lover left him and that's why he ended up hungry in the snowy wilderness. Shaun's cray cray.
Misty made a show of herself at Shauna's wilderness baby shower. Taissa sees things. Misty is indiscriminately abhored for a reason. Shauna is tremendously argumentative. The decibel level of their narrative and conversation is OTT. Shuna truly likes a nice row. The wilderness provided those who lived with the standards by which they would lead my life for good or ill. Misty does tempestuous shouting. The plot is not succinct. Misty and Shuna are fervent in their awfulness. Taissa and co can appease the crocodiles but at the end of the day they'll swallow you.
Misty lurks with an odious little toad. Lottie is creepy. The symbol was yelled about in the wilderness. Lottie played at being god. Birds show up. The world is built against them. There are dead bees. Or are there? This was okay.

Kiefer Sutherland's new show. Extremely vile people lurk. There is football hatred and irate demands. I have no idea what is going on or what this is about. Kiefer looks exactly as I imagine him smelling like. There is paranoia. Nobody has steadfast ethics or integrity. Kiefer is nonchalant and of course he knew the power of his words. An uprising is planned or something. Society is on the window ledge. This is very superficial. There is no intellectual rigour.
Kiefer plays John Weir. This is not intense, gripping or dramatic. Is Wick an overconfident mentally ill idiot? Wick has the devil in his nightmares. This was not powerful, intense or terrifying. Someone is out to get Weir, he is framed for murder. He is mystified, uncomfortable and apprehensive. There are vicious bastards. Lies are stirred up. This is not cold or ominious. I am reminded of 'Rubicon' for reasons. I'm not sure what to make of this.
