Crime (2021) 1x01
Dougray Scott stars in this Irvine Welsh tale of an abducted schoolgirl. This mediocrity was full of unintentional comedy and comedy 'Scottish' accents and useless slang. This plays like a parody. 2 burly Scottish men fight in a doorway and Dougray Scott goes full on mad ranting at his AA meeting. There are gross details and the missing Britney is an afterthought. There is mansplaining and a poor cat. This was utter crap.
Best Line:
"Serial killing cases that obsess you?"
"What does not exactly mean?"
"Eradicating scum from the face of the Earth."
"How did she react?"
"Sneeringly."
"I smell nonce!"
"Fixating on a piece of f*cking paper!"
"Where's my bairn?!?"
~
Sherwood 1x04
2 killers lurk in the woods. There is family strife and lots of exposition and a reveal and then another big reveal. Ian's wife may be the spycop.....oh nora! This was okay.
Best Line:
"Extract them."
"This place remembers."
"NUM bullsh*t!"
"We fall together."
"Accept whatever's coming."
