Talk of how genetic modification is illegal in the UFP and the Illyrians. Pike sounds drugged in the opening credits narration. There is a light based disease? La'an is descended from Khan. So when Kirk and co found Khan, nobody mentioned La'an?!? Number One is called Una Chin-Reilly?!? Number One has secrets. Is La'an an augment? She and Una brawl. This was iffy full of generational trauma and crap acting. I'm sure there will be fallout from Pike's coverup. The CMO has a secret.
