Watched 'Buried' 1x03&1x04:
The case became a cultural touch point. There are tales of abuse. The sleazy and vile defence lawyers brush off Franklin's vile crimes and call the daughters and mother liars, conspirators and complicit. Franklin smirks. He was convicted of murder and then accused of other murders. Shelley Long starred in a tv movie 'Fatal Memories' about the case. We see vintage footage of LaToya Jackson, Oprah and Roseanne talking about abuse. There were other repressed memory cases. A movement began. There is more vintage footage.
The defense lawyere are loathsome. Eileen's bitchy sisters turn on her. The mother gives an interview to Maria Shriver defending her husband! The mother, Leah, is gross. Connie Chung is seen in vintage footage. Then the conviction is overturned. Eileen's siser Janice is a trashy bitch. The case imploded.
Franklin got away with abuse and probably murder. People defended him over her. Eileen now lives under a new name, Janice is dead, Franklin is dead after walking free amongst us and the Gypsy Hill Murders were solved. The memory wars rage on. The defense lawyers revel in the calamity they caused.

Watched 'Relentless' 1x01&1x02:
In Hannibal, Missouri a woman named Christina went missing in 2009. Her family live in a trailer park. Christina's child is seen. There are strong white trash vibes. There is a dodgy looking stepfather. The night she disappeared Christina went to 3 bars and was thrown out of 2 of them. Who goes to a bar when you have a baby?
Her phone was found in the street. Problems are rife in the community. The filmmaker befriended the family. Law enforcement seems uninterested. There is talk of Christina being bipolar. Then things take a sharp turn as the family are accused of lying, money grabbing and there is talk of Christina's drug use and drug debt. There is talk of jail and gneral weirdness. There is an aborted car chase and footage of the family's really trashy appearance on 'The Steve Wilkos Show'.
Christina's ex Travis (the father of her child) looks druggie. He has no custody of their child. The mother sheds no tears. Christina had a rap sheet. Christina was out of control. The film maker does not seem very good at her job. There have been many sightings of Christina. There is talk of hooking. It is alleged that the mother is in contact with Christina. Cops aren't looking for her. It is allged Christina left and cops have spoken to her. There are reveals and wholly ludicrous lies.
