Book Reviews: Trailer Park Trickster + The Lords Of Discipline
Trailer Park Trickster by David R. Slayton
The 2nd Adam Binder novel is a boring mess. If there is Book 3, I don't think I will bother. I do not care about Adam's man-pain or random elves.
Best Lines:
“Wilful ignorance.”
“Hateful energy.”
“All very come here, go away-”
“It did not have good connotations.”
“His father's notions about manhood.”
“She'd loved him, hadn't she?”
“Shared past.”
“Laugh at us on the internet?”
“Isn't anywhere we can find him.”
“Past slights.”
“Do not call up what you can't put down.”
“He had no power, so he summoned nothing.”
“Made a terrible mistake.”
“Some kind of legacy, and I'm starting to think it's not anything good.”
“It killed everything,”
“This man wasn't worth anyone's mercy.”
“Turned the Great Plains from prairie to dry, dead land.”
