Kevin Costner is a big deal rancher. There is talk of an oil boom. Costner is obsessed with being a landowner and has a lawyer son. There are loads and loads of characters and exposition. Danny Huston growls. Costner does not speak, he orates at his kin and at a developer.
Costner's character has manly men sons. Some bitchy slut sister hangs out. Blow-ins are unwelcome and they cause trouble. Dutton (Costner) sends out a posse to move a river. There is gunfire and death and drama. This was okay soap.

The Trouble With Maggie Cole 1x05
Maggie instigated all this trouble. Maggie's in a huff with Peter her husband. Why's she upset? I've no idea what she's whining about. Maggie is stupid, stupid. I've literally no idea what the issue is until exposition reveals the son put someone in a coma and gave them a TBI.
Maggie perjoratively referred to people in discreditable fashion and now runs off due to manic egotism. She demands validation and is despondent and trenchant in her awfulness. Maggie's not conscientious. She's ghastly. Alex is ghastly and a thief and the money (now burnt) belongs to his demented grandmother.
People eat raisins from 2007 and this show is in dramatic decline. Will Maggie piss off? There is no lasting resolution. There are disastrous consequences to Maggie's gossip girl carry on. Nobody is guided by humanity. Maggie is ignorant and deluded. Alex does a pre-meditated attack.
Why are people pandering to Maggie who raged and defamed people with her deluded theories and she spewed conspiracy theories on a platform? Why nobody has sued her is shocking. The landlord reveals he is AWOL. Alex has general purpose hate/rage. Maggie's profoundly harmful and has a mission to disrupt and distort. Alex is also profoundly harmful. This was slow and nonsensical.
Alex is horrific and this ep was repetitive and dull. There is no massive upheaval or change. This was all mundanity. The school sceretary, Karen, kisses Peter in this grinding emptiness. This was ineffectual and Alex screams incoherently, burgles and attacks Roxy and a child. Alex is erratic and yet the police aren't called.

Divina must be taken care of. Why is there power? There is an absence of strategic vision. The police show up. The producer plans to kill zombie Divina. A congressman lurks snorting cocaine with other survivors. Nobody has skills or common sense. The director rants and rarely if ever reaches a place of contentment. There is corpse defilment and bad and evil thoughts. No.
“Put a gang together?”
“He pooed in a trashcan!”
“I don't speak foreign.”
“Stupidest idea I ever heard.”
“Beyond that gate lies hell itself.”
“Hell delivered up the dead.”
“Most useless people in the entire history of television.”
“Shaking your ass on tv for 2 months straight.”
Levi's group show up at Olympus. The tv dream has turned to dust. The director is tied up. The city is ruined and there is gunfire and a sense of uselessness. The director is disgusting and eaten. This is not traumatic as the cast all die at the hands of biters. People are trapped and new unscrupulous morons will take over the plot I suppose. No.
“Little late for regrets.”
“Old crazy guy we got locked in the bathroom.”

Malcolm babbles about bad things happening in the psycho mobile. Bodies are found in a junkyard. Psycho dad has been chained to a wall for 20 years. They are looking for another serial killer, who used the junkyard as a dump site. Psycho dad is interviewed by his bimbo daughter. Malcolm has a freak out. Ainsley done goofed. Malcolm and Ainsley hang out with their serial killer psycho dad at the serial killer nutward. Malcolm hasn't been in stable relationship in years. Psycho dad turns into a screaming lunatic. Psycho dad causes a riot at the nutward and he had a protegee. Ainsley gets her boyfriend stabbed and turns Malcom's life into news fodder. Ainsley films psycho dad operating on her dying boyfriend. I didn't care for this. Jessica has a basement phone she does not know about. Who pays the bills?!?
“Anti social parasite offender.”
There is a flashback to 1998. Some new loon bothers Malcolm. Ainsley is wretched. The FBI show up and they don't like Malcolm. Eve returns. Ainsley wants a story. A bloody box is delivered to the NYPD. The loon du jour bores. There is no acceptable truth. Are psycho dad's kids capable of doing something awful? Ainsley is dumped. Jessica whines. Why don't the FBI like Malcolm? This was not good.
“Somewhat ill advised.”
“Wretched little tattle tale.”
“Despite what he was.”
“Let him pop you like bubble wrap!”
There is malign incompetence. I'm not overjoyed reading this. There is talking, staring, duress, a puzzle and this is not tolerable anymore. The uncertainty isn't magnified. The heroine recoils and doesn't know what she's up against. There is anguish and misery. This was not affecting. This title is frequently incomprehensible and reason has abandoned the heroine.
“Just a bit.”
The Hunt (2020)
45: he's everywhere, like sh*t in a field. There is no honest intent in this contrived infamous movie. This wasn't evocative or provocative. Red and blue states are mutally incompatible. Really traumatic things happen to rednecks who are disliked by liberals. There is a toxic legacy and people have ideological lassitude.
There is a version of change as defined by liberals. There is GORE. This is a wannabe damning critique and a tragic prophecy. Liberals hunt rednecks and Emma Roberts of 'Coven' and 'Apocalypse' is a dead star walking. Liberals are a crapfest and they hunt deplorables. Hilary Swank, Betty Gilpin of 'Glow', Ethan Suplee and Justin Hartley costar.
There is a pig, weapons, horrible possibilities, liberals provoking retaliation, conspiratorial liberals, incessant lies and no moral complexity. There are demented rants, sheer unredeemed moral squalor and Crystal (Gilpin) gets deliverance from the nightmare of being hunted by becoming the hunter.
There is no moral ambiguity but there is blood and one wonders about the ramifications of these plans. Paranoia is fostered and there is panic and a mean spirit. Crystal's life as defined by other people is not valued. Athena (Swank) is utterly selfish and has a sneering manner. There is death and Athena is not known for sound political judgment.
Nobody is brimming with good intentions. This is mind boggling and Crystal has savvy and liberals make proud assertions and aren't self questioning. There is impending doom and terrible consequences and violent absurdity. Athena is a malefactor and things get spectacularly chaotic. Liberals are relentlessly delusional and there are very dark complexities. Liberals have annoyance and entitlement.
There is a toxic power dynamic and Crystal is a vet with PTSD and is heroic seeming with resigned annoyance. This can be thought provoking as the liberals see Crystal and co as ignorant irrelevant scum. This takes place in Crotia which is depicted as a rural hellhole full of indifferent bastards. The pig is called Orwell and this was okay.
Athena didn't understand 'Animal Farm' whilst Crystal did. The 7 minute fight between Athena and Crystal is a long time coming. Crystal heads home in Athena's dress, bloody shoes and steals her dog and food and champagne and private jet. Sequel hook?

The Lodge (2019)
A man (Richard Armitage) abandons his wife (Alicia Silverstone) for his whore (Riley Keough). After he smugs about marrying his whore to his wife, she kills herself. He leaves his grieving children with his whore at the remote house at Christmas. The father could care less about his kids. The whore is Grace, the only survivor of her crazy dead father's death cult. The man was her shrink! He and Grace have loud sex so the grieving children can hear. He gives Grace, his dead wife's things to wear and fawns over her and ignores his children. He's hilariously terrible. Things happen and she screams about her pills. They all look like a poodle's dirty backside. This was stupid. The 'twist' is obvious. How did she get them back into the house? This just ends. Shudder.
Another take on Arthur, magic, a sword, fire and a lady in a lake. Is that Merlin? Is that Arthur? He's in the nip! There are fights, nah.

Watched the 'Unsolved Mysteries' (2020) ep 'House Of Terror' which told the story of a French man who killed his family. There were subtitles, no voiceover, no Robert Stack and this was imperfect but okay. Xavier was the son of a French count and killed his wife, 3 children, stepson and 2 dogs and buried them in his backyard and then legged it. Friends deny he was a risk to those he 'cherished'. Why did the mother have a sleep apena machine? He shot his family and ran away. There was no blood, no fingerprints or DNA. How did he dig the hole in his backyard unnoticed? The heir son was in a seperate grave.
Xavier was in debt and had multiple problems. 3 months before the 2011 murders, his father died. The count lived in an apartment. Xavier had a penchant for losing money. He inherited no money but got a rifle. He lured his heir son home to kill him and put him in a seperate grave. Xavier has never been found.
“Now he's a criminal mastermind.”
“Downward spiral of failure.”
“A count's signet ring.”
