More Trailers

The Greatest’ trailer
Not bad.

‘In the Electric Mist’ trailer
Interesting.

‘The Babysitters’ trailer
Schlock, it looks like a Dr Phil ep.

'Prom Night IV: Deliver Us From Evil' trailer
Idiot teenagers will die for crimes against fashion: "Repent!" Not bad.

'Doppelganger' trailer
Drew Barrymore, George Newbern and their bad wigs take on an evil double: "The only thing she has to fear is herself." Cheese.

'Sleepwalkers' trailer
Terrible, terrible movie.

'The Club' trailer
Another version of the trailer for this film, all the best parts are in the trailers so it does not matter that it isn't on DVD: "You're going to hell for this."

'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' trailer
Fake chimps rise up and no need to see the movie seeing as the trailer gives the whole plot away.

'Tales of the Gold Monkey' intro
This looks cheesy and is way too long.

'The Quiet' trailer
Looks okay.

'Hexed' trailer
Claudia Christan comedy, all the best scenes are in the trailer.

'The Hidden' trailer
Must see this.

'The Fugitive' (2000) trailer
I never saw this tv show remake but Tim Daly has no charisma, Kimble jumps off too many buildings and Gerard annoys.

Best Lines:
"I will not stop, ever."
"Neither will I."

The Vampire Diaries Season 2 Ep 2 Review

Brave New World

Caroline’s a vampire and she’s still annoying. There is a carnival. Jeremy the mouth breathing attention seeker annoys as he bonds with Damon. Damon leads the council and keeps getting away with pulling the same crap. Tyler and Mason have a meaningful conversation.

Bonnie wants to kill Damon; Elena stops her for some insane reason. Elena is stupid and is making it all about her. The Damon/Jeremy bonding is ridiculous. Mason’s moonstone hunt and jumping over cars is uninteresting. This was uh.

Best Lines:
“That Tyler kid is incapable of walking away from a fight.”

“The ring toss is out of Bart and Homer dolls and Team Jacob t’s.”

Book Review: Gator A-Go-Go

Gator a-go-go by Tim Dorsey

Serge does Spring Break! Serge, his sidekick Coleman and a gang of college students are doing spring break. Along the way Serge encounters people from previous books, reveals nuggets of Florida history, faces off with a gang of psychotic mama’s boys and does some criminally insane murders of obnoxious people. This is a good hilarious read. Long may the adventures of Serge continue.

The Green Hornet Issue 3 + Jericho Issue 6 Reviewed

The Green Hornet Aftermath Issue 3
The Green Hornet and Kato have cops, Homeland Security, the Triad and a new pair of vigilantes after them. It's a busy time for them, also the Hornet gets shot again and a new female sidekick runs around wearing work inappropriate clothes.

This was okay, but where is Lenore Case? BTW do NOT read 'The Green Hornet: Blood Ties' just don't.

Jericho Season 3 Civil War Issue 6
I bought issue 1 while on holiday in 2009 and finally issue 6 is out and I am not entirely happy. The New Bern plotline surfaces again, Johnston's identical cousin does not appear, Hawkins makes it all about him and Beck and Emily do stuff in the background.

A cunning plan is hatched and the issue ends on a cliffhanger. A cliffhanger?!?! With no indication when or even if the plotline will go on? I cannot help but feel annoyed. This was good but the cliffhanger was a bit much.

Best Line:
"It's about time we found out what's going on in that town."
