Book Review: The Ice

The Ice by John Kare Raake

This North Pole mystery has murder, spires and PTSD. This translated thriller is clunkily translated and reads like a tv instruction manual from 1995 and not a good one either. This was not emotionally fraught just useless. This was tired and it has an undernourished plot that has no purpose.


Best Lines:

“These people were not killed by water.”


“A creeping death.”


“How the hell can ice burn?”


“Everyone's dead and somebody has killed them,”
