Angel Issue 6
Spike attention seeks. Lilith sneers. A weird woman looks. People talk about the Black Circle and Baphomet. Fred is in peril. Spike generates chaos and damgage. People have zeal warped conviction and intractability. Angel isn't in this issue. TPTB give Spike an overinflated sense of importance and his entire personality is just a persona and he's sheltered from consequences.
Spike is given insistent praise. Spike is the thing that ate 2 shows and now TPTB may let him eat this comic. Their is no ominious dread or terrifically sinister baddies. Spike looks disturbingly joyous kicking a woman in the face. This was non-productive.
Best Lines:
“And not killing you was the mistake that will end him.”
“Follow the stink of self-pity.”

Batman Curse Of The White Knight: Book Four
Gordon's dead. Batman makes it all about him as per usual. Despite wearing a mask, the cops know who Nightwing is. Harley's had her twins. Bruce has a good cry with Leslie and ignores Dick. Barbara tantrums and still has those dumb ears on her head. Alfred did stuff Bruce didn't know about. Alfred waved a sword. The Wayne family had a blood feud with some other family? Barbara gets a gun and plans to murder someone with Bullock.
The tumbler is mentioned. Barbara's injured. Bruce rants. The bad guy rants. There are increidbly harsh and negative consequences, that don't create behavioural change.
