The File On Thelma Jordan (1950)
Barbara Stanwyck stars in this noir tale. A DA ignores his wife and children. He treats his wife like dirt and has an affair with a femme fatale. He's weak witted and irrdeemably immoral. There's a murder case. The DA is a raging bastard. This was wholly unremarkable in every way and the ending is crap.

Night Moves (2013)
This indie eco-drama has staring, lots of staring as 3 eco-warriors have counter productive interactions. They're fed up with societal norms and have a plan and serious concerns about the inherently corrupt society. There is dull suprise acting as they plan to blow up a dam. There are ethical implications and orcestrated targeting. The trio do rather unwholesome activities.
The beardy eco-warrior sounds like John Malkovich. There is pretty scenery. We don't see the dam blow up. But it has consequences. There is a cute cat, anguish, recrimination and irrevocable destruction. There is damning behaviour and hippies who spend a lot of time driving. This was goodish if weird and then it just ended.. Dakota Fanning, Peter Sarsgard and James Le Gros starred.
