It is 1945 in this Channel 4 cold war drama. The US fears reds and the OSS goes looking for people to turn to their cause. A failed SOE spy becomes a civil servant. She's pouty that WW2 ended before she could be parachuted into France. A vile yank plots and another dude is yelly. The failed spy has a horrible family. Labour come to power. The yank plots his malvolent mission. The failed spy is told to find commies. The yanks are oddly unsympathetic to what the USSR suffered in the war. The phrase USSR is not used. The yanks are rude about the brits. Not overly interesting but not boring.
