Where No Man Has Gone Before

There are different uniforms, different cast members, talk about ESP and there is a lamp on Kirk's chair. Kirk's shirt is ripped off. This ep was fundamentally ridiclious. Kirk's good friend Gary Mitchell gets god like power and Kirk has to kill him. Neither Gary nor Kirk killing him were ever mentioned again. The ship's shrink Elizabeth Dehner dies and is never replaced. There is no McCoy. There is guile, the ship leaves the galaxy, Kirk waves a ray gun and Spock's ears make him look like a bat. What is a sensor beam? Kirk's name is apparently James R Kirk.
