Neptune Noir: Unauthorized Investigations into Veronica Mars edited by Rob Thomas I don't see how this is 'unauthorized' seeing as how the show's creator edited it but let us move on. This tome is a collection of essays on the show 'Veronica Mars' which was about a once popular girl who was kicked out of the in-crowd after the murder of her best friend. She lost her friends, her boyfriend, social status, her reputation, her mother ran off, her dad was fired and their home was repossessed. So she fought back by cutting her hair and becoming a cynical PI in training, exposing the sins of her one time social circle and their parents.
The essays in this book deal with season 1&2, which is good as the show went into total creative meltdown in season 3. The essays are very good dealing with many themes in the show. There's a lot of them and they're all fascinating, even the one on the cars driven on the show.
If you loved 'Veronica Mars' or like me, just liked it you should enjoy this.
