Find Me by Lisa Gardner
Flora a former abduction victim hunts down predators and then is abducted again. Detective D.D. Warren looks for her. People get the worst possible narrative deal and endanger themselves horribly. This was salacious, Flora never feels able to express emotions and a non-terrifyingly ordered killer looms. This had no intriguing choices and was dull. This was not a good account of adversity, resilience and dark and desperate things.
Best Line:
“Why are the bodies always hidden in Mattapan?”
“Because some neighbourhoods are just like that.”
