Recall ‘Jossy’s Giants’?

I won’t review ‘The Last Ship’ 3x10.

I will review season 2 ‘Gotham’.

‘Working Girl’ (1988) was not a good film.

‘Lords and Ladles’ is cringeworthy.

‘Red Dwarf’ began in 1988?!?

Did anyone read the 1996 novel ‘Ignition’?

Colm Meaney thinks the ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’ episodes ‘Past Tense 1&2’ aka “a concentration camp for the homeless" was a great episode. It was.

WTF are hair piercing? Or knotweed tats?

Did anyone ever own a bamboo-frame sofa?

My mother had a quilted blue bomber jacket, wore it too close to the fire and it melted.

WTF is a garment technologist?

I’d like a perfumed fountain.

~
On ‘Hollyoaks’: Ste never faces moral consequences for his acts. Ste fights for custody of his kids. Myra continues her betrayal narrative. Jack plots. This was all mediocrity, anticlimax and disappointment. This had no structured creativity. I didn’t know Duncan James from Blue was bi. This ep had all the consistency of a vegan fart. Ste has perpetual delusions. Jack has a sitcom arch nemesis in his brother.

This monstrosity of a show sees Ste the odious narcissist and epitome of all evil in a self-congratulatory orgy. This lacked dramatic fizz and was less than sizzling. Nathan is a tool. Lisa is insolent and indifferent. Ste is chronically unreliable and wonders why Leah doesn’t want to know him. Harry bribes Leah to hang out with Ste.

Best Lines:
“Two gays starting up a tanning salon.”

“Ste and Harry used to live in one.”

“Keep your y-fronts on!”

“Turn your back on me again.”

“She’s toxic.”
