Lights Out (2013)
This short film is less than 3 minutes long but it is still better than the 2016 horror movie it spawned. A woman flicks the light switch and sees something lurking in the dark. The ‘monster’ has bad make up and the light switch flicking annoys. The woman hides under her sheet from the monster as if that would help. Go out the front door already!!! She has a dangerous looking extension cord and ever so creaky floor boards. The ending is hilariously brilliant.
Geoffrey Rush stars and babbles as a former piano prodigy driven to a breakdown by his vile bullying father. This gives you no greater insight and leaves you suitably annoyed at the vile bullying father and his emotional distance and very restrictive criteria for child rearing.
“Am I mad enough?”
From Hell (2001)
Escape To Victory (1981)
Sylvester Stallone, Michael Caine and Pele star in this tale of football and WW2 and an escape. This was a self-aggrandising and silly mess.
