Movie Reviews: The Wicked Lady + 6 others

The Wicked Lady (1945)
A nobleman’s wife becomes a highwayman. James Mason becomes her lover. She is unmasked and is left mortally wounded to die alone. This caused censorship problems due to the era-appropriate bodices. This was okay with a bleak conclusion that is surprisingly brutal and grim.

The Field (1990)
Lots of roaring.

The Last Boy Scout (1991)
Many ill-thought-out decisions are on display.

Legally Blonde (2001)
A film about misguided senses of pride that isn’t as funny as it thinks.

Best Line:
“The evil Stefano.”

She Creature (2001)
This horror tale of a mermaid has no nuance, complexity or respect just theatrical posing.

Devour (2005)
There are no sparking personalities in this horror just thoroughly noxious ones. This is rubbish staring the good looking one from ‘Supernatural’. This was monstrously silly and dubious.

Wind Chill (2007)
This was dumb and full of wildly unsubstantiated yelling and no well-informed and thoughtful decisions. This was unwanted, opportunistic and superfluous.
