Cleared out a 2002 tape. It began with a ‘Roswell’ ep ‘Chant Down Babylon’ which had bad tracking, the surly one is a crap actor and Katherine Heigl sneers. Morgan Fairchild and her bad weave guest stars. Max is dead, Liz gets powers and an old dude turns into Max. The books were better than this poor effort.
Then came an ‘X Files’ ep ‘Scary Monsters’ which looked dark and murky. Scott Paulin guest starred and Scully looks bored and disinterested.
Best Line:
“Your lack of imagination saved our lives.”
Then came another ‘X Files’ ep ‘Jump The Shark’ which tied up the fate of the Lone Gunmen after their disastrous spin-off show was cancelled. This was crap, the trio act out of character and nobody cares about Yves and Jimmy who were blights on the spin-off. This seems very manufactured and fake with no creative autonomy.
Best Line:
“Powerful evil forces.”
Then there was yet another ‘X Files’ ep ‘William’ in which Scully coos over a son. A mysterious stranger lurks who everyone thinks is Mulder but is actually his half brother Jeffrey Spender. Scully has Mulder’s fish. William is part alien and Scully gives him up for adoption. This was okay.
