‘Superstition’ (1983) trailer
This obscure horror has rubber monsters, screaming, bad sfx and inept kill scenes. It also has bad acting, bad music, running in underwear, screaming and lots of blue light. This looks inept.

Cleared out a 2000 tape. It began with a ‘Hercules, The Legendary Journeys’ ep ‘Yes, Virginia, There Is A Hercules’ which was a metafiction clip show. There was dated tech and the cast play the makers of the show. There is bad tracking. The staff panic as Kevin Sorbo is missing. Cue a really unflattering depiction of the production team of the show. This was actually wonderfully accurate about the goings on behind the scenes. There is a reference to Concorde and ugly 1990s clothes are worn. This was not a glowing tribute to the show and the ‘star’. Sorbo’s absence was a cover for his stroke. The PA tries to kill her boss. There is a huge fight and nobody has any social skills. And Kevin Sorbo really is Hercules. Vomit.
“I’m a producer, I don’t feel anything.”
“When were you in Korea?”
“I was there for the Olympics missy!”
“Prove you’re not a moron.”
“Weekends are for communists!”
Then there was a ‘Cleopatra 2525’ ep ‘Home’ which was a tale of stiletto feminism, not a tale of the erosion of human autonomy as the gang visit the surface. This was dumb. Then came a ‘Jack Of All Trades’ ep ‘The People’s Dragoon’ as there are comedy French accents and the Dragoon’s mask is ripped off and luckily he’s wearing another one underneath. Nobody notices that the caped annoyance has a very distinctive chin. This was dumb.
Then came an ‘Andromeda’ ep ‘The Banks Of The Lethe’ in which Dylan’s fiancée reaches across 300 years to contact him in this okay ep. Dylan had another alien pal Khalid. He didn’t believe in the war. He and Sara are on the Starry Wisdom ship. Khalid nearly gets killed; Dylan bizarrely does not care as he is selfish. There is a sap overload.
“Shed blood together.”
“Those traitors aren’t my people.”
“The deck drips with the guts of the unworthy.”
“Welcome to my ambush.”
Finally there was a ‘Popular’ ep ‘Two Weddings and A Funeral’ in which Harrison slut shames Nicole. Carmen thinks she is pregnant. Delta Burke and Erik Estrada guest star. Miss Glass harasses Harrison. There is foreshadowing of season 2 which came to nothing. People sing, friends are odd and Sam has over-reached herself to her disgrace. Mary Cherry can sing well. May Tuna dies, nobody cares. Josh gets wet. Miss Glass has motiveless malignity. This had bad tracking, no real pathos and the wedding goes awry. This was too self-deprecating.
“Holy mother of god.”
“I am so ashamed.”
